I offer substance use counseling to middle and high school students, only with the written consent of a parent or guardian, who enrolls the student. I’m a referral provider for the Lakeland Consortium school districts. Substance use counseling is offered only to people physically in Wisconsin during the session. Confidentiality has legal limits (for example, risk of serious harm, suspected abuse or neglect, or a court order); I explain these before we begin.
