Non-clinical coaching for stress, routines, and recovery, delivered online across northern Wisconsin. No long drives, no waiting rooms, no judgment. Just support that meets you where you are.
Progress Is Progress offers non-clinical mental health coaching: practical, forward-focused support for stress, burnout, grief, and the emotional weight that often travels with addiction. Coaching doesn’t diagnose or treat anxiety, depression, trauma, or any other condition. It’s delivered online by me, Belle Morey, a Wisconsin Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC), with lived experience.
Your coaching plan reflects what you actually need, not a one-size protocol. Many people find online sessions convenient, and I can’t promise particular results. My commitment is real support, no judgment.
I’m not a therapist, and I can’t treat mental health conditions. I can support habits, routines, and accountability while you work on stress, grief, burnout, or recovery. I can work alongside your therapist or doctor, with your written permission.
Substance use is not a moral failing, and I approach these conversations without shame. I don’t give medical advice or manage medication. With your written permission, I’m glad to coordinate with your doctor or therapist.
I serve adults across northern Wisconsin, with a focus on communities that traditional health care has too often missed. Your zip code shouldn’t decide your access to support.
Online platforms eliminate geographical barriers, allowing people in rural or underserved areas to access support that was once out of reach. The drive to a larger city can eat up half a day, and childcare, gas, and time off work add up fast.
I work with adults 18 and older. Parents of teens are welcome to book family coaching.
We also support Veterans and military families, coordinating with the VA when it helps. Over 1.7 million Veterans received mental health services at the VA last year, including counseling, therapy, and medication options. The VA offers a Veterans Crisis Line that provides confidential support 24/7, staffed by responders who are often Veterans themselves.
Eligible service members and Veterans can also access free individual and group counseling at Vet Centers without being enrolled in VA health care. We are glad to work alongside these resources.
Your first appointment is a conversation, not an interrogation. We start with a short intake conversation to understand what brought you here and what you hope will change.
After the intake, we typically meet weekly. We adjust your coaching plan over time, and with your written permission I’m glad to coordinate with your doctor or therapist.
Online coaching offers increased accessibility, flexibility, and convenience compared to in-person coaching. You can join a session from your car, from home after the kids are in bed, or from a quiet corner of your workplace.
Many people find it easier to keep up with virtual appointments. Online coaching removes the drive, so it can be easier to show up.
A trustworthy online service should protect your information and use secure, encrypted communication. My sessions take place on a secure, encrypted video platform. I’m a Wisconsin Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC); you can verify credentials at license.wi.gov.
It’s just me, so you always work directly with me.
Support groups and health education classes are common forms of mental health care that provide community and shared experiences for people facing similar challenges. I can point you to peer support, including the Messy Progress community and Real Talk Recovery events.
Peer support is not a substitute for coaching, but it is often the glue that holds recovery together.
Choosing a coach or counselor is part practical, part intuitive. You want to know about credentials, availability, services offered, and how they coordinate with your other providers, and you want to feel seen.

Many people find online coaching convenient and easy to stick with. I can’t promise particular results, and coaching is not a substitute for therapy or medical care.
A trustworthy online recovery coaching service should meet HIPAA compliance and use end-to-end encryption for communications, which ours does. All our clinical social workers, family coaches, and recovery plans are credentialed in Wisconsin, so you always know your provider is licensed where they practice.
Your first appointment is a short intake assessment focused on what brought you here and what you hope will change. You can also complete a brief online self-assessment beforehand to help identify difficult thoughts and feelings, giving your counselor a head start on your care.
